Composite entrance
Our default recommendation for a front door. Solid, warm, secure, and it looks like painted timber from the pavement.
A composite door is a solid timber-core slab wrapped in a GRP skin — it won't warp like timber, won't flex like uPVC, and holds its colour without painting. This is the 48mm slab we fit as standard.
Not a foam-filled shell. It's the mass that stops a door being kicked through, and it's what makes it feel heavy in the hand.
Anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-drill, anti-pick — snapping the cylinder is how most uPVC doors actually get opened, so this is the part that matters.
Hooks, rollers and a deadbolt engaging the frame keeps down the full height of the leaf when you lift the handle.

Lighter and cheaper, with the same multi-point locking. Best on back doors, side passages and utility entrances.
Two leaves, no track in the floor, full opening width when you want it. The classic answer onto a patio or garden.
Nothing swings into the room, so you keep the furniture layout. Big panes, slim interlock, inline or in-frame.
Folds back and stacks to one side so the whole opening disappears. Worth it on a wide aperture; overkill on a narrow one.

Hardware is specified on your quote
The weak point on almost every uPVC and composite door in Britain is the euro cylinder. Grip it, snap it, and the door opens in seconds. It costs very little to specify one that can't be — so we specify it as standard and write it on the quote, rather than treating it as an upgrade.
