A Bradford firm, doing Bradford houses.
We started because too many people round here had been sold windows by someone they never saw again. So we kept it small enough that the person who measures your house is the person who stands behind the job.
Most of West Yorkshire's housing stock is stone-built terraces, inter-war semis and 1970s estates — and each of those wants something different. A flush casement suits a stone frontage in a way a chunky sculptured profile never will. A 1990s semi with a structural bay needs a pole, not optimism.
We're not the cheapest quote you'll get, and we're not trying to be. What we do is write down exactly what you're buying — the profile depth, the glass make-up, the cylinder rating, the guarantee — so you can put our quote next to anyone else's and actually compare them.
Eco Star Glazing Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company no. 13448076.
Windows, doors, conservatories, roofline and sealed unit replacement.
On frames, sealed units and hardware, backed by insurance.
Our own fitters, on every job, start to finish.
Four rules we don't bend.
None of this is heroic. It's just what a glazing company ought to do, written down so you can hold us to it.
The price is the price
No inflated list price, no manager's discount, no offer that expires at midnight. One number, itemised, valid for 30 days.
The spec is written down
Profile depth, sealed unit make-up, gas fill, spacer type, cylinder rating and hardware, all on the quote. If it isn't written, it isn't promised.
We survey before we sell
Nothing is ordered off a rough measurement. Every opening is surveyed properly, because a frame trimmed to fit is a frame that leaks.
We register the installation
Replacement windows and doors are notifiable work. Yours gets registered with the local authority and you get the certificate — you'll need it when you sell.
West Yorkshire, most days of the week
What you're covered for.
Ten years on frames, sealed units and hardware. That covers discolouration, distortion, failure of the seal, and hardware that stops working through normal use.
Replacement windows and doors are notifiable under Building Regulations Part L and Part N. We handle the registration and you receive the certificate for your records — your solicitor will ask for it the day you decide to move.
